SCOTCAP Service Model Evaluation Blueprint

Outlined here is an interactive service pathway which illustrates the newly developed managed service for Colon Capsule Endoscopy (CCE) designed and developed as part of the SCOTCAP Service Evaluation Project during the Innovation Phase of this project. It provides a visual representation of how the CCE service was delivered and how this service integrated within Endoscopy services within SCOTCAP project areas. 

The pathway is set out in a series of stages which outlines what is involved for service users, the Managed Service Provider, and NHS provider, when delivered as part of an integrated service offering within a Health Board Area. The blueprint contains information and insights relative to governance, role and responsibilities, technology adoption and adaption, and detailed information relative to actual processes involved and workflow. In addition, the service pathway also outlines key insights generated for the SCOTCAP Service Model Evaluation Project, and scaling up recommendations and considerations, should the model be adopted for wider national roll out. 

DHI would like to acknowledge the contributions from our NHS and Industry project partners in supporting the development of the content contained in this interactive. This interactive could be used as a service development and planning resource to support further advancement in the use of CCE across Scotland.
